    Don Appling Iron Man Veterans Tournament
    Our 5th annual Veterans Challenge was the best turnout ever. We had 11 in foil, 11 in epee and 7 for Sabre with 7 people competing for the Iron man Trophy. Congrats to Henry Chang who placed in all 3 event and took first place overall and was crowned the new Iron man for 2010-2011 by Timothy Scanson, last years Iron man. Timothy finished in 2nd place overall followed by Tom McClintock in 3rd place.
    The individual event winners were Foil: Henry Chang earning his E10, Sabre: Timothy Scanson earning his E10. Epee: Henry Chang.

    Aloha State Games - Foil Results
    Thanks to everyone for their help in making the last tournament of the season a sucess. Special thanks to Kathy Masunaga who was able to get us into the ballroom even though we showed up on the wrong day.
    Congrats to Jesse Miyamoto who won the gold medal and re-earned his C.
    The next event will be the 2nd annual Epee Summer Smack Down which will be on Aug 14th, 9am at the Ala Wai Ballroom.
    The new board will be. Mike Aiau - President, John-Rolf Oakley - VP, Fran Sakaguchi - Secretary, Timothy Scanson - Treasurer.


    Aloha State Games - Epee/Sabre Results
    Congratulations to John-Rolf Oakley who put together a twofer on Saturday winning both the Epee & Sabre events earning his E10 in Sabre. Also congrats to Thomas Miller and Donovan Kawewehi for earning their C10's in Epee and Ethan Okura who earned his D10.
    Jared Schreiber took the gold medal in junior epee.

    Hawaii State Epee/Sabre Championships
    We had a great turnout for the state Sabre and epee championships. We had a B1 event in epee today so thanks to everybody for helping to make that possible. John-Rolf Oakley took the Gold medal in Sr. epee and also earned his B10. Way to go J.R. Roland Pendleton took the gold in Jr Epee while Jeff Dalli from Stanford took the Gold in the Sr Sabre. Also Congrats to Thomas Miller and Donna Rapadas for earning their D10's in Epee.

    Hawai Open Classic 2010 - Results are Posted
    Thanks so much to all of you who helped us make the the Hawaii Open a success in spite of the problems that we faced.

    MVP goes to Tom McClintock and Conny Jolitz who both earned 3 medals a piece. Conny earned her E10 in foil and Tom earned his C10 in Epee and his E10 in sabre.
